FootpathFocus is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
We don't collect your personal data. Everything stays on your device. We don't have accounts, servers, or analytics that track you. Your health data, mood data, and app usage are never transmitted anywhere.
FootpathFocus stores the following data locally on your device only:
This data is stored using on-device storage only. It is never uploaded to any server. If you delete the app, all of this data is permanently deleted.
FootpathFocus reads your step count and exercise minutes from Apple Health to track your daily progress. We only read this data — we never write to or modify your health data. This data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.
FootpathFocus uses Apple's Screen Time API to block and unblock apps based on your daily goal. When you select apps to block, Apple provides us with an opaque token — we never see the names of your apps, your usage data, or any other Screen Time information. This is enforced by Apple's privacy architecture.
FootpathFocus uses RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. RevenueCat processes your subscription status through Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment details, Apple ID, or billing information. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier to track subscription status — no personal information is shared. If you enable notifications, FootpathFocus sends local notifications from your device (daily walk reminders, goal completion alerts, streak reminders). These are not push notifications from a server — they are scheduled entirely on your device.
FootpathFocus does not use any analytics services, crash reporting tools, advertising SDKs, or tracking pixels. We do not track how you use the app. We do not collect device identifiers, IP addresses, or location data.
The only third-party service used is RevenueCat for subscription management. No other third-party services have access to any of your data.
FootpathFocus is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
